A few welcoming words from our CEO and Founder, Antimo Fiorillo.
On Saturday, December 16, I was thrilled to be able to host an inaugural ‘welcome event’ to celebrate the official creation of a new company, Intellegant. Intellegant launches into the exciting and rapidly expanding field of big data and IIoT, and we can’t wait to be able to apply our expertise to all the unique challenges faced by companies today.
I first became interested in big data technology and the management of information while doing a Postgraduate at KU Leuven a few years ago, and it quickly became apparent that this is a critically underserved field. It’s not an exaggeration to say that data will be the oil of the 21st century, and companies are being set apart by how they can leverage new technologies and strategies. Even traditional, physical industries like resource extraction or manufacturing are applying new data management techniques to refine their business in never-before seen ways.
Intellegant will bridge the gap between industries like this and the sometimes-insular tech field. Our name derives from the Latin verb intellegere, which means ‘to understand’. At Intellegant, we’re making it our mission to assist companies in making their data understandable, safe, secure, and able to be utilized in the best possible way to enhance their business model and drive performance. At the same time, we pride ourselves on not losing sight of the nitty gritty of the business world, and will develop, implement, and support holistic data solutions that take into account industry realities and specific problem statements.
Data intake is expanding so rapidly that it can easily become a hindrance, and we will strive to turn that chaos into power, and turn a problem statement into an opportunity.
